Increasingly, users of the online auction site WagglePop refer to the floundering site as WaggleFlop. Occasionally, the reference is related to the February 2005 launch and subsequently hasty exit of site and owner, Ray Romeo. The site was relaunched in May 2006. Current and exiting members have started speaking openly about their suspicions, experiences and disapointments. If you are considering diversifying your eBay business to any auction site, it's smart to do your homework. Though sales may not be as brisk at various sites, you have options. You can choose from sites that charge upfront listing fees or subscriptions like eBay, such as Amazon and Overstock Auctions. Free listings and even completely free sales can be found at smaller niche sites (often referred to as 'St Elsewhere' auction sites) like WeBidz, USIFF, Biddersnsellers, DealGates, and the terrific free/free store fronts of eCrater (also known as 'the moon') and BluJay. Perhaps you're curious why people are saying that WagglePop sucks. All sites fail to serve the needs of some portion of their customer base. I won't recite the growing litany of complaints and issues here. Instead, you're invited to participate or lurk the ongoing experiences and conversations of real users. A Brief History
